New Leadership on the Horizon for Fiji Roads Authority

The government is currently in the process of hiring a new CEO for the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA). Minister for Public Works and Transport, Ro Filipe Tuisawau, stated that the recruitment would be managed by the FRA board.

He clarified, “They are actively engaged in the recruiting process, including the selection of a recruitment agency. Necessary documentation and advertisements will follow, and the process will start from there. This should be finalized soon.”

Additionally, Ro Filipe mentioned that the appointment and salary of the FRA board chairman would be addressed after the new CEO is in place. He responded to inquiries regarding the chairman’s compensation of $200,000 while serving as acting CEO, noting that such questions would be resolved once the new CEO is appointed.
