John Rabuku, the former Acting Director of Public Prosecutions, has been appointed as the new Deputy DPP, starting today. This announcement was made by the Acting DPP, Nancy Tikoisuva. Tikoisuva confirmed that the appointment of Rabuku adhered to due process, with an independent panel tasked with selecting the most qualified candidate for the position. She highlighted that Rabuku brings extensive knowledge and experience, as well as a strong familiarity with the office, which will enhance the capabilities of the department.
