John Rabuku, the former Acting Director of Public Prosecutions, has been appointed as the new Deputy DPP, starting today. The announcement was made by Acting DPP Nancy Tikoisuva. She reaffirmed that the appointment followed due process, as an independent panel was tasked with selecting the most qualified candidate. Tikoisuva expressed confidence in Rabuku’s extensive knowledge and experience, emphasizing that his presence in the role of Deputy DPP will enhance the capabilities of the office.
