New Indonesian Defence Attaché Makes First Official Visit to Fiji

Colonel Eko Pur Indriyanto, the newly appointed Indonesian Defence Attaché to Fiji, recently conducted a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Major-General Ro Jone Kalouniwai. This significant meeting took place on December 11, 2024, at the Strategic Headquarters in Berkley Crescent, just two days ago.

Upon his arrival, Colonel Indriyanto was honored with a quarter guard, underscoring the importance of the event. He then engaged in an official discussion with the leadership of the Fiji military. Following this, Col Indriyanto visited Brigadier General Onisivoro Covunisaqa, the Commander of Land Forces, at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua. This visit marks his first engagement in his new role as the Indonesian Defence Attaché, signaling a commitment to strengthening defense relations between Indonesia and Fiji.
