In a significant development this week, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka inaugurated a new health facility in Dago, Nananu, Tailevu, a project that has been underway since its commencement in 2017. This initiative has received substantial support from the New Zealand government, which has contributed $472,895 aimed at improving healthcare services and infrastructure.
Approximately 8,000 residents from the Dawasamu, Namena, and Sawakasa districts will benefit from this new facility. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of safeguarding the health and wellbeing of the community by enhancing the services provided by the health center.
The new health facility will also support students from Ratu Kadavulevu School and Queen Victoria School, alongside other nearby educational institutions, by ensuring access to healthcare services.
