The opening of a new health facility in Dago, Nananu, Tailevu marks a significant milestone for the Fijian community, overseen by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. This initiative comes as a result of an agreement with New Zealand, which has generously contributed $472,895 to enhance healthcare services.
Around 8,000 residents from the regions of Dawasamu, Namena, and Sawakasa will benefit from the services offered at this new health center, providing them with essential healthcare access.
Prime Minister Rabuka emphasized the importance of safeguarding the well-being of the community, affirming that improved healthcare services will be pivotal. Furthermore, the new facility will also serve educational institutions like Ratu Kadavulevu School and Queen Victoria School, ensuring that students have reliable access to health services.
