New Dormitories Boost Education for Ratu Kadavulevu School Students

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has received accolades for its recent completion of two new dormitories at Ratu Kadavulevu School. At the inauguration of the facilities, Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro expressed the government’s appreciation for the $1.1 million refurbishment project.

The newly constructed dormitories, named Bure Cakau and Ma’afu, will provide accommodation for hundreds of students at the school, thanks to the efforts of the Church.

With a track record of contributing to educational and humanitarian initiatives in the Pacific, this project further highlights the Church’s commitment to the welfare of youth in Fiji.

The Minister emphasized the significance of collaboration between the government and private organizations in enhancing educational infrastructure throughout the nation.

These dormitories, which suffered damage from previous fires, now feature modern amenities, including over 140 new double bunk beds, enabling them to house 280 students annually.
