John Rabuku, the former Acting Director of Public Prosecutions, has been appointed as the new Deputy DPP, effective immediately. This announcement was made by the Acting DPP, Nancy Tikoisuva. Tikoisuva stated that the appointment process adhered to due procedures, involving an independent panel that was tasked with selecting the most qualified candidate. She emphasized that Rabuku’s extensive knowledge and experience with the office will enhance the department’s capabilities and strengths.
