Netball Showdown: Who Will Claim the Crown at the 2024 Fiji Finals?

Eight teams from the Central rally have qualified for the 2024 Crest Fiji Secondary Schools Netball Finals, which will be held from August 21-23 at the National Netball Centre in Laucala, Suva.

FSSNA president Navitalai Naivalu highlighted that the Central rally is known for its competitive spirit, with schools from the Suva area competing for a chance to participate in the finals.

“The competition showcased an abundance of talent and the significance of teamwork, with teachers playing a vital role in preparing the teams,” Naivalu stated.

The teams that have qualified for the national finals include Dudley High School, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School, William Cross College, Ballantine Memorial School, Saint Joseph Secondary School, and Yat Sen College. Notably, defending champions Suva Grammar only qualified in the U19 grade, whereas Dudley High School made history by qualifying in all grades for the first time.

“As the competition intensifies, an exciting event is on the horizon with new champions expected to emerge,” Naivalu added.

Supporters are encouraged to back the teams and show appreciation for the teachers and parents who have significantly contributed to the players’ development in the sport of netball.
