Navutulevu Village Scores Big at Rugby Clinic!

Navutulevu Village showcased its rugby enthusiasm by sending 60 players to the Rugby Academy of Fiji Milo Tag Rugby Clinic held at Nasikawa Vision College yesterday. The event was a highlight for the children of Navutulevu, who immersed themselves in various rugby activities during their school day.

The village assembled under-13, under-12, and under-8 tag teams, proudly displaying the young talent and passion for the sport. Team coach Uraia Ratulevu expressed his appreciation for the program, noting its positive influence on the children’s behavior.

“When these kids start to get involved in rugby, we witness significant positive changes in their attitudes,” Ratulevu shared. “It’s encouraging for us, and we are delighted to see these improvements.”

In preparation for the clinic, the team dedicated a week to training, underscoring their commitment and zeal for rugby. Ratulevu emphasized, “The clinic offers an excellent opportunity for our children to learn about teamwork, discipline, and respect, both on and off the field.”
