Navua Sets Sights on Pacific Community Cup Debut

Inter District Championship finalist Navua has secured a place in the upcoming Pacific Community Cup. This will mark the team’s first participation in the tournament, which annually showcases Fiji’s top four districts.

Navua will compete alongside the IDC champions Labasa, National League winners Rewa, and Lautoka, who won both the Fiji FACT and BOG titles. Lautoka accrued 13 points through their victories in the Fiji FACT and the BOG, along with a third-place finish in the DFPL. Meanwhile, Labasa obtained 11 points, finishing second in the DFPL, reaching the Fiji FACT semi-finals, and celebrating victory in the FMF IDC 2024.

Rewa qualified with nine points after winning the DFPL and making it to the semi-finals in both the BOG and IDC, while Navua earned their slot with eight points for reaching the finals in both the Fiji FACT and FMF IDC.

Joining these Fijian districts will be international teams, including the USA All-Stars, AUFFI All-Stars, NZFFI All-Stars, and Auckland All-Stars. The tournament will be hosted by the Australian Fiji Football Incorporated (AUFFI) at Churchill Park in Lautoka, scheduled for 28-30 November.
