Navua, the finalist in the Inter District Championship, has secured its place in the upcoming Pacific Community Cup. This marks the first time that the team, coached by Saiyad Ali, will participate in a tournament that annually showcases the top four districts from Fiji.

Navua will compete alongside Labasa, who won the IDC, Rewa, the National League champions, and Lautoka, the winners of the Fiji FACT and BOG tournaments. Lautoka accumulated 13 points through victories in the Fiji FACT, BOG, and by finishing third in the DFPL, while Labasa earned 11 points, placing second in the DFPL, reaching the semi-finals of the Fiji FACT, and triumphing in the FMF IDC 2024.

Rewa qualified for the tournament with nine points, thanks to winning the DFPL and making appearances in the BOG and IDC semi-finals. Navua achieved their spot with eight points after reaching the finals of both the Fiji FACT and FMF IDC.

In addition to the Fijian districts, international teams such as the USA All-Stars, AUFFI All-Stars, NZFFI All-Stars, and Auckland All-Stars will also be part of the competition.

This year’s tournament will be hosted by the Australian Fiji Football Incorporated (AUFFI) at Churchill Park in Lautoka, scheduled to take place from November 28 to 30.
