Katea Ravouvou’s outstanding performance with two tries led Natabua High School to a 20-15 victory over Adi Cakobau School in the exciting Raluve Trophy Under-18 final.
Natabua started strong with a try from center Ruth Tuitabou, although the conversion attempt was unsuccessful. ACS quickly equalized with a try by halfback Noelani Baselala, bringing the score to 5-5.
Just before halftime, Natabua winger Katea Ravouvou scored again, giving her team a 10-5 lead at the break.
After halftime, Ravouvou scored her second try, but the conversion failed once more. Natabua then increased their lead to 20-5 with another try from Laisani Gudrunalawalawa.
In response, ACS fought back with tries from Roiva Kalouniuca and Imeri Nasali, closing the score to 20-15. Despite their late surge, ACS could not secure a victory, and Natabua celebrated their championship win.
