Varun Karan has resigned from his role as the head coach of Nadroga Stallions, citing family and career obligations. Kamal Swamy, who formerly coached Nadi and served as Nadroga’s technical adviser, will take on the coaching role following Karan’s departure.
Karan confirmed this news in an interview with FijiLive, where he discussed the challenges he faced juggling his coaching responsibilities and personal commitments. “I found it difficult to balance my coaching role with my family and work responsibilities, especially with the commuting needed from Nadi,” Karan commented.
While not ruling out a future return to coaching, Karan stated that he would be prioritizing his family and career for the time being.
