Police are currently investigating a series of robberies that occurred in Nadi during the early hours of Thursday last week. Senior Superintendent of Police Iakobo Vaisewa, the Divisional Police Commander for the West, stated that investigators are pursuing several leads.
“Our team is still gathering information, and we have some details that they are following up on,” SSP Vaisewa mentioned.
Surveillance footage has revealed that three individuals were involved in the robbery at the Total Energy service station in Nadi Town, which took place at 3:47 AM. This same group is also believed to have targeted a mini-mart in Martintar shortly thereafter.
Authorities previously indicated that the robbery incidents commenced in Ba, where a vehicle was stolen that was later used in the robberies in Nadi.
