Nadi’s emotional qualification to the semifinals of the Battle of the Giants, where they triumphed over the two-time champions Labasa, brought immense joy to both the players and their supporters.
Each of Nadi’s three goals was celebrated with passion, involving everyone from the bench players to Nadi association’s president Mohin Rafiq, who ran to the sidelines to join in the excitement with the goal scorers.
