A police investigation has commenced following the discovery of a 60-year-old man’s body at his home in Suva this morning.
A report was received at the Totogo Police Station from a colleague who visited the victim’s residence after multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact him. Upon arrival, the colleague found the victim lying motionless and immediately notified the authorities.
Officers from the Crime Scene Investigations Unit were dispatched to the location to begin the initial stages of the investigation. Investigators are now waiting for the results of a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death as the investigation continues.
