Traffic investigators are seeking public help in identifying the victim of a tragic accident in the Southern Division. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana, a man believed to be in his late 20s was run over by a vehicle after allegedly sleeping on Queens Road near Talenaua in Navua during the early hours of last Friday.
The victim was taken to Navua Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Although inquiries are underway, the victim’s identity remains unknown. In an effort to gather leads, investigators have released images of the victim’s clothing and a tattoo on his left arm, hoping someone might recognize him.
