Authorities are looking into the death of a homeless man who was discovered unresponsive at the Totogo Police Station yesterday morning.
Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew reported that the man had entered the station to request access to the bathroom, and officers on duty accommodated his request.
Shortly after, an officer who was escorting a prisoner to the bathroom found the man lying without movement. The scene was subsequently secured for a Crime Scene Investigation team to carry out their examination.
Mr. Chew added that a post-mortem will be performed to determine the man’s cause of death, and he assured the public that a comprehensive investigation into the incident is underway.
