A police investigation has been initiated following the discovery of a 60-year-old man’s body at his home in Suva this morning. A report was made to the Totogo Police Station by a colleague who went to check on the victim after several unsuccessful attempts to reach him. The colleague found the man lying motionless and quickly notified the police. Officers from the Crime Scene Investigations Unit were dispatched to the location to begin the preliminary investigation. Authorities are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death as inquiries proceed.
