A 24-year-old individual is set to face charges in Suva’s Magistrates Court today, following allegations that he murdered a 25-year-old man during a dispute last Saturday night. Police reports indicate that the incident occurred in Suva on November 2nd, where the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim.
After the incident, the victim was promptly taken to Colonial War Memorial Hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The suspect was apprehended yesterday at the Totogo Police Station and is facing serious charges.
The case is slated to be called in court this afternoon, where further proceedings will take place.
