A 31-year-old man charged with murdering a 28-year-old woman in Raiwaqa, Suva, earlier last week has had his case moved to the High Court. Anare Vuli Diliceva appeared in a special sitting before Magistrate Jeremaia Savou, who transferred the case due to its indictable nature.

It is alleged that during a heated argument with Shabreen Shain Ali on Sunday, September 8, Mr. Diliceva used an object to injure her, leading to her death. He remains in custody, and the case is scheduled for its first hearing on September 30.
