Members of Parliament are set to receive new laptops running Windows 11 Business or Pro, along with the latest high-end mobile phones, according to tender documents from the Department of Information Technology and Computing Services. The tender indicates that ITC Services is seeking a dependable supplier for these devices, which include laptops with a 14-inch screen that support pen and touch input, featuring storage options of either 512 gigabytes or 1 terabyte. The mobile phones are described simply as “high-end mobile devices – latest.” Following a motion passed by the Special Committee on Emoluments in May, MPs will now be allowed to keep the devices provided to them, which include mobile phones, laptops, and iPads.
