Motibhai Group Champions Innovative Upskilling Approach to Boost Employee Retention and Engagement

The Motibhai Group is pioneering an innovative approach to employee development, recognising the importance of talent retention in today’s competitive corporate landscape.

The company hosted a two-day leadership workshop aimed at enhancing self-awareness, motivational skills, and the ability to navigate Fiji’s changing work culture among its approximately 45 managers. The seminar was led by renowned trainer Mark Wager from the Australasian Leadership Institute.

Wastika Chandra, Motibhai Group’s manager of Human Resources, Training and Compliance, reinforced that the training fostered a supportive environment promoting growth and development. Chandra underscored how boosting manager’s decision-making skills can lead to improved understanding of team needs, thereby enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.

Sanjay Kumar, group manager of People and Culture, Admin, expressed gratitude for the company’s investment in workforce training. Kumar stressed that providing employees with the necessary resources for learning, training, and mentoring improves productivity and cultivates a sense of purpose and involvement within the organization.
