Miss Universe Fiji Contestants Make Waves at Navua Hospital

The contestants of Miss Universe Fiji visited the maternity ward at Navua Hospital yesterday to give back to the community. During their visit, they engaged with Dr. Kapil Swamy, the Senior Doctor for Serua/Namosi, midwife Samantha Banner from the Navua Maternity Unit, and Salote Matanayawa, the Commander of the Navua Command Centre. The contestants took the opportunity to ask questions regarding issues faced by young mothers in Fiji.

Additionally, the participants attended an educational session led by Melissa White, the South Pacific director of the International Seakeepers Society, which focused on oceanographic research and conservation efforts. This event was part of the lead-up to the 2024 Miss Universe Fiji National Final, which is officially hosted by The Pearl Resort & Spa.

Tonight, the Miss Universe Fiji title will be awarded at Pacific Harbour.
