Magistrate Yogesh Prasad has granted 58-year-old Methodist Church minister Kolinio Bulivakarua’s lawyer, Vukicanavanua Rokodreu, a 28-day period to advise his client regarding a plea, which is set to be recorded on November 6.
Bulivakarua, a minister based in Ba, has had his bail extended. He is accused of unlawfully withdrawing $7,638.68 from the mataqali Walakewa TLTB trust account. This alleged incident occurred while he served as the divisional superintendent of Bukuya, Ba, between January 1 and May 31, four years ago.
The police prosecution has completed and submitted the second phase disclosures, which Rokodreu confirmed he has received.
