Minister Vosarogo’s Commitment to Youth Soccer Shines at Championship Opening

Filimoni Vosarogo, the Minister of Lands and Minerals Resources, took a break from his parliamentary responsibilities to participate in the official launch of the McDonald’s Inter-District Championship. During the event, Minister Vosarogo highlighted the significance of government participation in sports, which plays a crucial role in cultivating young talent throughout Fiji. He remarked, “I’m really encouraged; in fact, I had to request leave from the Speaker of the House since parliament is in session this week. Today’s the last day, but I chose to be here with you. This reflects your government’s commitment to advancing soccer in the country.” The tournament is currently underway at Nasinu Muslim Primary School, showcasing young soccer talents from various districts, and is scheduled to finish tomorrow.
