Minister Lynda Tabuya Delights Children at Vou Fijian Flying Circus

Minister for Women, Children, and Social Protection, Lynda Tabuya, organized a memorable afternoon filled with fun and laughter for the children of St. Christopher’s Home, Dilkusha Home, and Pearly Gates Home at the Vou Fijian Flying Circus yesterday.

With the support of their dedicated caregivers, Tabuya joined 44 children who were captivated by the outstanding performance of the Vou dance and song troupe, along with 20 of her own nieces and nephews.

The event offered a refreshing change from the children’s typical weekend routine, providing them with an opportunity to experience joy and excitement in a new environment.

The children’s delight was evident as they sang on their way home, showcasing how much they enjoyed the outing and the positive impact it had on their spirits.

Minister Tabuya was profoundly impressed by the show, describing it as the best homegrown show to date.

“I’ve seen many circus shows worldwide, but this show was different because of its unique Fijian essence. The performers elevated the humor and the Bula spirit to another level,” she remarked.

Throughout the event, Tabuya’s commitment to supporting and uplifting children under State care was apparent as she actively engaged with them and shared in their moments of joy.

Her presence at the Vou Fijian Flying Circus highlighted her dedication to promoting the well-being and happiness of all children, especially those under State protection.
