Former Methodist Church president Reverend Tevita Nawadra has passed away at the age of 73. The church confirmed the news of his death through a statement released by the general-secretary on Monday morning.
Rev Nawadra held the presidency since August 2014 and previously served as the church’s general-secretary. Reverend Jolame Lasawa, the current general-secretary, stated that the church will hold discussions regarding funeral arrangements, with an announcement to be made during the iTaukei radio program ‘Raici Jisu Matua’ on Sunday.
