Twenty children from WOWS Kids Fiji recently enjoyed a memorable two-night stay at Mana Resort Island in the Mamanucas, creating lasting memories. This annual trip, organized in partnership with Mana Island Resort, provides a joyful escape for both mothers and children from their everyday routines.
Kimberly Smart, a member of the WOWS Board of Directors, highlighted that many children in the program might only have the chance to participate in such trips once due to the unpredictable nature of their cancer diagnoses. “We strive to provide them with the best experiences,” Ms. Smart stated. “Everything we do is for the kids, and we also aim to give parents a chance to relax and enjoy a holiday away.”
She expressed appreciation to Hiroshi Matsumoto, the chief operating officer of Mana Island Resort, for his significant support in helping to organize the event. “We have been organizing this trip for several years now, and we are just happy to see the kids come and go, creating joyful memories along the way.”
