MBHS U15 Team Triumphs with Heartfelt Dedication

The Under-15 rugby team from Marist Brothers High School (MBHS) celebrated their 22-7 victory over Gospel High School (GHS) in the Vodafone Deans Trophy semi-finals, dedicating the win to the late father of their No.8 player, Senitiki Kuruvakadua.

In an interview on Saturday, head coach Jone Temo expressed that their success was inspired by divine assistance. He mentioned that during halftime, he urged the players to improve their line speed and defensive strategies against the challenging Gospel team.

As they prepare for the final match against Suva Grammar School, Temo indicated they would focus on enhancing their strength and conditioning. He noted that while most players have a solid fitness level due to their athletic backgrounds, there are a few minor injuries, but he is optimistic they will be ready for the crucial game.
