MBHS U15 Rugby Team Triumphs with Heartfelt Dedication

The Under-15 rugby team from Marist Brothers High School (MBHS) honored the memory of their No. 8 player, Senitiki Kuruvakadua, by dedicating their 22-7 victory over Gospel High School (GHS) in the Vodafone Deans Trophy semi-final to his late father.

MBHS U15 head coach Jone Temo expressed on Saturday that the win was achieved through divine support. He noted that at halftime, he instructed the players to enhance their line speed and defensive tactics against a formidable GHS team.

As they prepare for the final against Suva Grammar School, Temo mentioned that the team would focus on improving their strength and conditioning. He added that while most of the players possess good fitness levels as athletes, they are managing a few minor injuries, which they hope will not hinder their performance in the upcoming match.
