Math enthusiasts from over 10 primary and secondary schools throughout the country gathered in Suva yesterday for the 2024 Fiji Mathematics Association (FMA) Nationals Finals. FMA president Vinod Sharan stated that this annual event, which showcases the top mathematical talent in Fiji, featured at least 90 teams competing this year. “This competition assesses students’ knowledge, speed, and accuracy,” he noted. The national finals were organized by the FMA and received support from the Ministry of Education.
