Massive New Church Project Aims to Unite 40,000 Worshippers!

The All Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) has announced plans to construct a church designed to accommodate a congregation of 40,000 individuals. The announcement was made by ANCF General Superintendent, Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca, during the church’s Epic Rugby Sevens tournament at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last Friday.

Rev. Ratabacaca explained that the tournament serves as a fundraising event for this ambitious project. “We are in possession of a 25-acre parcel of land for the construction of this church facility,” he stated. He emphasized that the venue would be available for events from all Christian denominations.

“We have been motivated to create this space for the entire body of Christ, and we are thankful that God has entrusted us with this responsibility,” he remarked. The Reverend noted that this church facility is intended for use not just by ANCF but by other Christian groups for various church conferences.

He expressed concern that sports grounds are not suitable worship venues. “The recent Methodist Church Conference at the Vodafone Arena in Suva cost nearly half a million for just a week,” he pointed out, highlighting the discomfort faced by attendees during adverse weather conditions. “Many Christian conferences have been held in sports venues, leading to members getting wet and cold in the rain. This new facility will ensure a comfortable environment for worship,” he added.
