Massive New Church Planned to Serve 40,000 Worshippers!

The All Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) is planning to construct a church designed to accommodate a congregation of 40,000 people. This announcement was made by ANCF general superintendent, Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca, during the church’s Epic Rugby Sevens tournament at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last Friday.

Reverend Ratabacaca stated that the tournament aims to raise funds for the project. He mentioned, “We have acquired a 25-acre plot of land for this church facility, which will serve 40,000 attendees.”

The facility is intended to be used for events by all Christian denominations. “We are inspired to create this space for the entirety of the Christian community. It is a blessing that God has chosen us to undertake this mission.”

He emphasized that the church facility will not only benefit the ANCF but will also be available for use by other Christian faiths for conferences and gatherings.

Reverend Ratabacaca criticized the use of sports venues for worship, citing the Methodist Church Conference held at the Vodafone Arena in Suva, which reportedly cost the church nearly half a million dollars for a week-long event. He pointed out that these venues are not suitable for worship activities, especially during inclement weather when attendees may become wet and cold.

“This new facility will provide a comfortable and conducive environment for worshipping God,” he added.
