Massive Church Project to Serve 40,000 Unveiled!

The All Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) has announced plans to construct a church that will accommodate a congregation of 40,000 people. This information was disclosed by ANCF General Superintendent, Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca, during the church’s Epic Rugby Sevens tournament held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last Friday.

Reverend Ratabacaca explained that the tournament aims to raise funds for the new church project. He stated, “We have a 25-acre land to build this church facility. This facility will cater for 40,000 people.”

He emphasized that the facility will be open for events from all Christian denominations. “We have been inspired to build this facility for all the body of Christ. We are grateful that God has chosen us to do this,” he said.

The Reverend noted that the church facility will serve not only their congregation but also other Christian groups for church conferences. He pointed out that sports grounds are not suitable for worship, referencing a recent Methodist Church Conference held at Vodafone Arena in Suva, which cost nearly half a million for just one week.

“Those sports grounds, including Vodafone Arena, are not the house of God. We have seen that many annual Christian conferences have been held at sports grounds. During rainy weather, members get wet and cold,” he added.

“This facility will be built for us to feel comfortable when worshipping God,” he concluded.
