Massive Church Project to Serve 40,000 Unveiled!

The All Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) is planning to construct a large church designed to accommodate a congregation of 40,000 individuals. This announcement was made by ANCF general superintendent, Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca, during the church’s Epic Rugby Sevens tournament held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last Friday.

Rev Ratabacaca explained that the tournament serves as a fundraising event for this ambitious project. “We have a 25-acre site allocated for building this church facility, which will accommodate 40,000 people,” he stated. He emphasized that the facility would be accessible for events from all Christian denominations.

“We are inspired to build this facility for the entire body of Christ. We are thankful that God has entrusted us with this mission,” he added. “This church will not only serve our community but will also be available for other Christian groups to hold church conferences.”

The Reverend highlighted that sports venues are not ideal for worship. He referenced a recent Methodist Church Conference held at Vodafone Arena in Suva, which required nearly half a million dollars for a week’s event. “Sports grounds and the Vodafone Arena do not serve as houses of God. Many Christian annual conferences have been held in such venues, leaving members exposed to poor weather conditions,” he noted. “This new facility will ensure a comfortable environment for worship.”
