Massive Church Project Set to Accommodate 40,000 Worshippers!

The All Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) is set to construct a church designed to accommodate a congregation of 40,000 individuals. This announcement was made by ANCF’s general superintendent, Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca, during the church’s Epic Rugby Sevens tournament held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Friday.

Rev Ratabacaca mentioned that the tournament serves as a fundraising event for the church project. He revealed that the church will occupy a 25-acre site, which will serve various Christian denominations for their events.

“We have been inspired to build this facility for the entire body of Christ, and we are thankful that God has chosen us for this purpose. This church facility will not only serve our needs but will also be available for other Christian denominations to host their conferences,” he stated.

The reverend emphasized that traditional sports venues do not appropriately serve as places of worship. He highlighted the financial burden of holding significant church conferences in such locations, citing the Methodist Church Conference held at Vodafone Arena in Suva, which incurred costs close to half a million dollars for a week-long event.

“The sports grounds and Vodafone Arena do not represent the house of God. Many Christian annual conferences have been hosted in sports facilities, and during rainy weather, attendees often find themselves uncomfortable and exposed to the elements. This new facility will be designed to ensure a comfortable environment for worshipping God,” Rev Ratabacaca concluded.
