Marica Waqaniburotu celebrated a double victory as she was named Miss Friendly North 2024 and Miss Charity during the event held at Subrail Park in Labasa, in front of a large audience. She dedicated her success to her family, expressing her gratitude for their unwavering support. “This victory is for my family, who have been my biggest supporters,” she stated. Waqaniburotu emphasized that her win is also a tribute to all the queens who have competed before her, suggesting that the titles represent collective achievements. In the contest, Adi Volitikoro from Miss Labasa Town Council secured the first runner-up position, while Vika Tadu, representing Miss Northern Civil Service, was awarded second runner-up alongside the Miss Photogenic title.
