Tokasa Nadagalu delivered a powerful message of love and resilience when she was crowned Miss Vodafone Gold ‘N’ Water 2024 at Garvey Park in Tavua last Saturday night. The 19-year-old, who was sponsored by the vanua o Tavualevu, hails from Tavua Village and was raised by relatives after her father left the family. Tragically, her mother passed away when Tokasa was just 14 years old.
During the crowning ceremony, she inspired her peers with the message, “Never Give Up.” The newly crowned queen expressed her belief that her achievement was made possible through faith in God.
After her crowning, she quoted the late Mother Teresa, stating, “Only love can drive out darkness and hatred.” Tokasa also expressed gratitude to major sponsor Vodafone Fiji and her community sponsors from Tavualevu, including Krishna Goundar, for their support.
