A 24-year-old woman was taken into custody in Tacirua for allegedly selling alcohol without the necessary license. Officers from the Valelevu Police Station conducted a raid on a shop last night that was reported to be operating illegally, resulting in the seizure of over 100 cans and bottles of liquor. The woman remains in custody as investigations are ongoing. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu emphasized that such illegal activities often lead to other criminal behavior, and the ongoing operations aim to disrupt these unlawful markets.
