LDS Church Unveils New Dorms: A Game Changer for Ratu Kadavulevu School

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has received accolades for its recent initiative, successfully completing two new dormitories for students at Ratu Kadavulevu School. During the opening ceremony, Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro expressed the government’s gratitude for the $1.1 million refurbishment project.

The newly completed dormitories, named Bure Cakau and Ma’afu, are set to house hundreds of students at Ratu Kadavulevu School, thanks to the contributions of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Church has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to educational and humanitarian projects throughout the Pacific region, and this latest endeavor highlights its dedication to fostering the well-being of young people in Fiji.

The Minister emphasized the significance of collaborations between government bodies and private organizations in enhancing educational infrastructure across the nation.

These dormitories, which were largely damaged by fires in the past, now feature modern amenities, including over 140 new double bunk beds, capable of accommodating up to 280 students each year.
