Lautoka, the host district, has been eliminated from the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) after finishing their final Group A match against Suva in a 1-1 draw at Churchill Park. The Blues needed a victory to secure their place in the semifinals, while the Whites required a win by more than three goals to advance. Lautoka took the lead in the 31st minute with a goal from veteran midfielder Zibraaz Sahib. However, Suva equalized in the 58th minute through Ni-Vanuatu player Joe Moses. As a result, Navua has advanced to the semifinals along with Labasa from Group A.
