Lautoka’s campaign in the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) has received a significant boost with the addition of experienced goalkeeper Beniamino Mateinaqara. Currently based in Auckland, New Zealand, Mateinaqara has been released from his position at Rams Group of Companies to enhance the goalkeeping lineup for the Blues, who have been facing challenges in this area.
The former national goalkeeper has previously won IDC titles and has a rich playing history, having represented Lautoka as well as Ba, Navua, Nadi, and Suva. Flick Hygiene Lautoka is placed in Group A alongside Suva, Navua, and Labasa, and they will kick off their campaign against Navua at 6 pm next Tuesday.
