The Port of Lautoka is experiencing a lively schedule with various cruise line arrivals and departures. Recently, P&O Cruises Australia’s Pacific Adventure docked on August 19 for a 12-day round-trip journey around Fiji. The 23-year-old ship can accommodate up to 3,174 passengers and is supported by a crew of 1,100 members.
The vessel, which previously operated under the name Dawn Princess, departed Sydney on August 13, making a stop at Mystery Island, Vanuatu, before reaching Lautoka on August 19. After visiting Dravuni Island in Kadavu, it is set to return to Sydney on August 25.
With a construction cost of $1.003 billion, the Pacific Adventure is equipped with a Watrsila-Sulzer engine, offering powerful performance.
According to Cruise Mapper, the ship was navigating the South Pacific Ocean with specific coordinates of 17.60497 S / 177.43772 E as it approached Lautoka. After completing its Fiji adventure, the Pacific Adventure will set off on a nine-day round-trip Barrier Reef Discovery Cruise, departing Sydney at 4 p.m. on August 25. This next itinerary will take it to Queensland, Australia, before reaching Cairns, with planned stops at Willis and Moreton Island before its return to Sydney on September 3.
