Opposition Member of Parliament Ketan Lal has pledged to continue advocating for the needs and aspirations of various communities in Fiji after being elected as the Deputy Whip for the Opposition. Following the Speaker’s announcement, Lal expressed his honor at being chosen for this position within the Opposition Working Group (16). He stated, “Taking over this role is a humbling experience, and I am committed to ensuring that the voices of our people are heard and amplified.” Lal also expressed his gratitude to his supporters for their trust and confidence in him.
