Residents in the Labasa area are informed about temporary road closures scheduled for Monday, October 7, and Thursday, October 10. Senior Superintendent Kasiano Vusonilawe from the Fiji Police Force’s Operations Division announced that these closures are necessary for the Fiji Day celebrations, with a dry run taking place on Monday and the official celebration occurring on Thursday.
The roads at the junctions of Y-corner and Park Street will be closed at 9 AM on Monday for the dry run and from 6 AM on Thursday for the celebrations.
The Fiji Police Force requests patience and understanding from the public during these times. Traffic officers will be on hand to assist with managing traffic flow.
