Labasa’s head coach, Ravneel Pratap, states that the team is focusing on boosting their morale as they prepare for the Round 14 DFPL match against T/Naitasiri, aiming to extend their unbeaten home streak.
Pratap acknowledged that the team’s spirits were low following a 4-2 defeat to Lautoka in Round 13 last week. “The morale has gone down after the game against Lautoka, so it’s important to get the boys focused and ready, especially when we’re playing at home. We haven’t lost any DFPL matches this season at Subrail Park, and we hope to maintain that,” Pratap expressed.
He emphasized that reinforcing their defense is a priority, as it was a vulnerable area during the recent Battle of the Giants tournament. “The boys are eager to score goals, but they forget to defend their own goalmouth, and that’s where they get punished,” he noted.
