Kontiki Finance Ltd (KFL), a publicly traded financial services provider, has successfully raised $890,276 through a private placement of additional shares aimed at a select group of investors. This funding will support the company’s ambitious expansion plans within the Samoan market.

The announcement was made at the South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPX), where KFL is listed. Following this capital raising effort, an additional 847,882 shares of KFL are now quoted on the SPX.

The SPX highlighted that the funds garnered will not only facilitate KFL’s growth but also reflect the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the financial sector. “This initiative confirms KFL’s dedication to expanding its market reach while remaining capable of seizing new opportunities within the industry,” stated the SPX.

Currently, KFL boasts a market capitalisation of $100,605,689, constituting 2.78 percent of the total market capitalisation of the SPX, with 94,911,027 shares trading at $1.06 each.

The SPX team reassured that they are available to guide other listed companies interested in exploring similar capital raising options. They expressed satisfaction with entities that are effectively utilizing the existing regulatory framework to enhance their operations and to maximize the benefits of their listed status.

At the time of reporting, KFL shares were trading at $1.06 each.
