Tour Managers has introduced Kimaya, a new brand aimed at fulfilling the company’s mission of providing personalized travel experiences. This rebranding coincided with the inauguration of the refurbished Yatule Resort and Spa in Natadola, Sigatoka, which took place last week.
The refurbishment project, valued at $5 million, included the unveiling of new staff uniforms. Damend Gounder, Managing Director of both Tour Managers Fiji Group and Yatule Resort and Spa, highlighted that the Kimaya brand represents years of commitment, passion, and a steadfast belief in achieving excellence in travel experiences.
“Tonight marks a significant milestone, reflecting not only our company’s growth but also the evolution of our brand and vision,” he stated. “As tour managers, we always aim to create unforgettable experiences for our guests while benefiting our shareholders and stakeholders.”
Gounder explained that the brand name “Kimaya” was inspired by his four-year-old granddaughter. “Kimaya signifies more than a mere brand; it symbolizes our promise to our guests, partners, and community. It embodies the essence of emotions and experience crafting.”
Under the Kimaya brand, the focus will be on innovation, environmental sustainability, a Corporate Social Responsibility Foundation, and fostering meaningful connections. Gounder noted that Kimaya reflects the experiences of the shareholders and staff, as well as embodying the aspirations, values, and commitment to excellence of Tour Managers Fiji.
